Coach Boey
Coach Boey brings over 12 years of chess coaching experience to Gambit Academy, which he founded with a single mission — to make chess accessible, fun, and transformative for every child. A competitive player himself, he was 1st Runner-Up at the British Universities Chess Championship and served as President of the Imperial College London Chess Club (2014). He also represented Malaysia at the MSSM Chess Championship (Malaysia's equivalent of Singapore's NSI) in 2011, where his team claimed 2nd place.
